Practice 13: How to write strong thesis statements
Government Surveillance
a) Governments can not catch everything
b) That would be very expensive
c) Governments do not have the enough power for controlling their population and have that amount of information
Gun ownership
a) Not everyone can have a gun.
b) Not responsibility people can use it for negative connotations.
c) It would be extrange walking in the street and knowing that anyone can have a gun and use it whenever.
Globalization
a) It is a useful tool for being connected worldwide.
b) You can meet different people worldwide
c) It has created stability between the countries.
Changing your name
a) You can be able to have the name that you want.
b) You can be called whatever you want.
c) Your parents could give you a name that you do not like the most and you have the opportunity to change your name.
Thesis statement:
For being a good government, it is not necessary to have surveillance for controlling the population as they have the freedom for doing whatever they want until it is legal because they do not have the enough power for controlling the population with cameras.
Being able to have your own gun is pretty dangerous as not responsible people could be able to have their own gun and use it whenever they want.
Globalisation has made that all the people can be connected worldwide just using a button, for that reason it is a useful tool.
Having the freedom of choosing your own name is something that has to be legal because you can not have the same opinion that your parents had when they put your name.
