19. Your last day in your country

Having to say goodbye was very hard. I didn't want to go to the United States, but on the other hand I was excited to have the opportunity to work in the United States as a nanny. I remember how my parents took me to the airport and were telling me that they were going to miss me, but that I had to leave if I wanted to have experiences in my life. I have to say that I didn't cry when I said goodbye to them, but when I was already on the plane, I really felt the pain of starting a new adventure in another country alone. The fact that the United States is so far away from Spain made me even sadder. Anyway, I understood that goodbyes always mean new beginnings.
